Our 2017 Performance
From when they first step foot in Airport City, we do everything we can to create an unforgettable experience for our passengers. By improving seating and work spaces at some of our most heavily used gates and reviewing our security screening experience, we were able to maintain an Airport Service Quality Score of 4.36.
Every year, we work together to strengthen our commitment and our measure of sustainability—and we’re just getting started! In 2017, we increased the airport’s energy efficiency and even reduced our emissions. We’re also proud that over 55 percent of our employees now participate in our volunteering program, giving back to the communities where we live and work.
Did you know that we have the highest on-time performance rate for Air Canada and WestJet in the country? It’s true! We avoid increased costs in fuel and employee overtime by making sure our flights arrive on time.
At Airport City, our employees play a critical role in driving our success and helping us deliver world class service. While we’ve maintained our engagement survey score from 2016, we’re using the results as a blueprint for bigger and better ways to improve our employee experience.
